EDUCATION – BUSINESS – LEADERSHIP
We are committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning, where knowledge drives success and innovation fuels growth.
About
For seven years, we have gathered 600 Latinas a year to celebrate, witness, and empower the next generation of Latinas.
In 2018, we started Latina Leaders and Entrepreneurs and now Latina Village with the mission of creating a space of inspiration and advocacy to elevate the voices of Latinas. Our goal has been developing and nurturing our leaders and increasing the number of successful Latina entrepreneurs and professionals who graduate from Colleges or universities.
Scholarship
My name is Sara Rubiano. I was born in Colombia and arrived in the United States in 2023. I will be attending MSU Denver.
I am majoring in Aerospace Science and Aviation with a concentration in professional piloting.
The scholarship that Divergent is giving me will contribute to flight lessons, college tuition, and general support resources.
But I can’t finish this journey alone.
With your support, I can complete my aviation degree and become the pilot I’m working so hard to be.

Why support our community
In 2024, we decided to make a brave move following the community’s request and became a 501c3 with the intention of building a bridge for the young generation of Latinas to successful careers.
Around 500 Latina leaders
gather each year to celebrate Women’s Week and inspire the next generation of Latinas.
To date, we have awarded $57,500
in scholarships and
and $5,000 in seed money to Latina business owners.
We have supported around 70 Latina
Artisans through the “Mercado Emprendedora”.
And we have had 35 professional
Latinas as panelists over those 7 years.
Together, we aim to build a future where education, business, and leadership intersect to create sustainable growth and shared prosperity.
Testimonials
What they
say
“Hello! My name is Andrea Moreno and I am a first generation student at MSU Denver majoring in elementary education with a minor in business administration. My hope is to create educational equality within the educational system to support our minority students with opportunities like the scholarships I was given. Latina Village has opened new doors and opportunities for which I will always be grateful.”

From the first moment I decided to participate, I was able to make myself known to an audience I never thought I could reach, I was able to meet and participate with inspiring and empowered women. This organization is something that many women need, I am very happy with the momentum that I can achieve with my business and this award encourages me to keep going.
